A local neighborhood on one of the mountainous island in Malaysia, Pangkor. The island which was once a refuge for local fishermen, merchants, and pirates, is now a tourist destination. Despite the high growth and development, many natural sites with important cultural properties remained untouched. Life on the island tend to be slower paced with greater sense of relaxation, and certainly more interactions between local residents. When the elderly stand by the roadside holding a helmet, people don’t hesitate to give them rides. Lovely.
